Kaiteriteri Mid Winter Swim

It was 10am and people were starting to arrive in Kaiteriteri for the mid winter swim. By 11am about 450 people were there. It was a great day with lots of activities inculeding Bouncey castle, merry go round, mini cars, plastic duck race, raffles and entertainment from More FM.
I helped to tip the ducks in off the bridge. My duck didn't win. It was a great day and I liked how most of my mates were there having a good time

Our statistical enquiry was about how many people drove past our school, Riwaka, using their mobile        phone.                                 

We stood out side school in the morning and the afternoon making tally charts on how many cars went past and how many people were on their phone.

We predicted that 1 in 10 cars would go past using there mobile phones, we were almost right.

Our conclusion: There were 80 cars that drove past our school during school time.  There were 3 people that drove past using their cell phones.  

We thought that there would have been more people on their phones.

But that's still pretty bad!
