Amount of People Speeding Down Main Road.

Our question for our statistical enquiry was how fast cars were going down Main Road. We predicted that over half of the cars surveyed would be speeding. We had to follow a statistical enquiry. First we had to define the problem. After we defined the problem we had to plan our statistical enquiry. After the plan we had to gather the data to do the analysing then we can up with the conclusion. The results of our statistical enquiry show that over half of the people surveyed are within the speed limit but a fair chunk [around 16%] are over the limit. The limit is 50kph down Main Road Riwaka. The average speed is 50kph. Our prediction was wrong. 

El Tratado - Behind the Scenes

The process of making a film is always hectic, on set and off.   So with this post we reveal El Tratado, going behind the camera lens.

For a 4 minute film it actually took a surprising amount of work.  (Around a month.)  First we had to write the script, which was a huge task.  We had to plan out the camera angles, write the lines, pick locations and create the characters.  Then the prop crew had to create the scenes so that they fit the script.  This included making a giant Union Jack to hang in the background of the treaty tent, which was also a huge task.  We had to put it up, take it down, put it up, take it down, a lot of times.  Then we were faced with the problem of uneven ground at Pukatawai, which made setting the tent up even harder.  I hope all the work is appreciated because a lot went into this.
