Cross Country

On Friday our year 5s and above participated in the school cross country.
We had to postpone the race from Thursday to Friday because of heavy rain fall. Which also made us change the course from the orchard to the footpath.

There were two different race distances; the year 5's and 6's ran 2km and the year 7's and 8's ran 3km.

The race was quite difficult for some competitors and others found it easy. Years 5 and 6 ran to the end of School Road and years 7 and 8 ran to the wharf and back.

In the year 7 and 8 race Campbell came first, Boston came second and Harry came third. Out of year 8s Harry came first,  Joseph came second, Jack came third, Jesse T got fourth and Cristian and Aaron got fifth equal. The top five finishers from each age group are going to rabbit island on Tuesday.
