Riwaka Cross Country
All of the Riwaka school did the cross country on the 3rd of August. Everyone did really good as it was quite a distance to run. Years 4, 5 and 6 ran 2km and year 7 and 8 ran 3km. As it was wet
on Thursday when we were suppose to run it got postponed till Friday. We were going to run through the orchards but it was wet and muddy so we didn't. Lots of parents and caregivers came to show support to all of the children and cheered everyone to carry on running. The top 5 placings of all age groups get to go to the inter-school cross country at Rabbit Island on Tuesday the 7th of August.
