In term 1 we had the Summer Sports tournament at Motueka's Goodman Park and the Motueka Recreation Centre, the day was just for year 8 and 7's so we could meet and make new friends for when we go to high school.
In the morning we left school at about 9:00 a.m. The sports were Ultimate Frisbee, Touch Rugby and Volleyball, we had 4 teams of about 10 students. I was in team 3, the first sport we played was Touch Rugby we had about 4-5 games, we did that for 1 hour.
The next sport we did was Volleyball we had 4 games. I personally enjoyed it because it was only my second time playing volleyball. The last sport we did was Ultimate Frisbee. We played that on the outdoor netball courts, we also had 4 games and we were meant to have 5. In the end we had prize giving, our team didn't win anything but, the main thing was that everyone had an excellent time.
